Our experiences can cause us to be fed up with a lot of circumstances.  In fact, people may say and do something normal like ask us a general question and because we are not in the best space, we abruptly respond with an unwelcoming attitude.  For many, this can be a huge shock to them, given that your personality is more inviting.

APOLOGIZE
When we make mistakes, such as offending others, it is important to apologize.  Just as much as we use the two words “thank you”, it is in our best interest to genuinely use another two words: “I’m sorry”. Showing this level of apathy demonstrates the characteristics of a true leader.

SELF-CHECK
Many circumstances that we face daily are unsettling.  However, we need to identify what we are going through by continually giving ourself a self-check.  Being in tuned with your emotions and feelings assists us to think through what goes on in our lives.

RESPOND
Ultimately, we have the ability to make things right in our respective worlds by setting a standard.  The manner in which we expect to be addressed is the manner in which we need to treat others.  There is always a way to justify what we do and do not do.  More often than not, we are responsible for what happens in our lives; even if things happen to us, we have the the choice to control our attitude and how we respond.
