STEPH OUTSIDE OF COMFORT
You may wonder about the reason things are not going the way you expect in your business affairs.  It is essential to understand that in order to grow your business, it will require you to step outside of that proverbial comfort zone.  At times, you will have a great idea and zero capital to make your idea a reality.  You need to be prepared to borrow capital.  I am not talking about looking for an absurd loan (read: an exorbitant amount of cash).  Instead, create a realistic budget and begin to source potential investors who can lend you financial aid that you are able to repay in the shortest time.

CALCULATE RISK
Make a calculated risk.  It is a problem when you take on debt and cannot repay outstanding balances.  As an entreprneur, the money has to come from somewhere and most often it comes from those who are close to you.  Losing a friendship or putting a strain on family relationships is not a good idea.  Even when you have a track record of being honest, poor business decisions can ruin a welcoming environment quickly.

UPHOLD INTEGRITY
Not only do people trust you when they give you money to handle your business ebdeavors, they expect you to do well.  In turn, it is difficult to repair relationships that have taken a turn for the worst.  With business, sometimes matters that are out of your control can negatively impact your projected outcome.  Nonetheless, without taking a risk, one will never know what could have happened.

CREATE A PLAN
Life is not always going to come to those who simply dream about what they desire.  Hard work, commitment to goals and learning from failure is sometimes the package deal that one has to take before experiencing success.  Create a plan that looks at various outcomes and before taking the proverbial plunge into the unknown, be responsible and communicate what you are prepared to do in case problems arise.

KNOW YOUR VALUE
Learning to mitigate problems is a great skill to have.  Further, remember that your word is one of the greatest assets you have in business.  People need to know that they can trust your brand.  We can easily complain about how life is not going well for us.  Granted that we are alive, we can make efforts to get closer to living the physical equivalent of our spiritual desires.  Know your value.  Embrace your destiny. Take a risk.
