USE YOUR VOICE
When you begin to use your voice to support others or speak up for yourself, it can be very interesting.  On the one hand, when you speak up and speak out, it can cause a stir among those around you.  On the other hand, when you respectfully use your voice, it can make you self-conscious about your approach. For example, after expressing yourself in what you believe to be a respectful manner, you can still question whether or not your approach was received well.

SHARE YOUR NARRATIVE
As a person who rarely shares their hurt with the world, when you begin to do so, it can become difficult.  I am not talking about complaing; rather, explaining that you have been through some tough times. Ultimately, sharing your true narrative is liberating.  Also, there is nothing wrong with supporting others while getting your point across.

COMMUNICATE RESPECTFULLY
Some people would rather that no one speak about their personal experiences; believing it is necessary to ensure that the status quo remains the same–showing signs of being disturbed when a new idea is presented in public.  Communicating in a respectful manner should never be a crime.

BE SELF-ASSURED
As an advocate for progressive change, there needs to be self-assurance that safe spaces exist to share thoughts.  Unfortunately, we may have to take a risk and say what is not being said.  No one should be made to be feel like they are inconsiderate because they share a truth with the intention of making this world a better place. Those who are in need of support ought to be comforted in this journey of positive self-expression.
